2nd Annual Invitational Beer Fest

Event Date 06-03-2017 Event Time noon-8pm

That’s right folks, The Bier Stein Invitational Beer Fest is back! We had a great time throwing our first outdoor fest last August despite soaring temperatures. This year we’ll beat the heat and host over 30 breweries pouring from a selection of new, seasonal, and one-off beers. Oregon Wood Fired Pizza will sling pies, and we’ll provide a bicycle valet and a convenient water station– bring your own water bottles! Admission is $20 and includes a .25L glass (for proper enjoyment of 4oz pours) and 5 beer tickets. Pours will range from 1-4 tickets per 4oz. pour. This is a CASH ONLY, 21+ event. Designated driver admission is $5.

We are seeking volunteers with OLCC Server’s Permits to pour beer from 3-6pm and 6-8pm. If you don’t have an OLCC card, we also need folks to help with admission and supporting the beer servers. Please e-mail aaron@thebierstein.com if you would like to be part of our team. There are perks!

This year’s lineup consists of 100% Oregon beer, cider, and mead. We’ll be featuring a couple new Oregon breweries as well– stay tuned! Circadian Soda and Elevate Kombucha will also be serving their nonalcoholic beverages. The list–

Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Across the World – Eugene Beer Week

Event Date 06-10-2017 Event Time all day / 5pm

Each year for the past several, Sierra Nevada has collaborated with 12 different breweries to produce a variety pack of creative juice for your enjoyment. This year, it expanded its reach beyond our borders to Denmark, England, Germany, Japan, and New Zealand! Beer Camp Across the World features 12 different beer styles (with three in the IPA category), many with interesting ingredient additions. Even the Ayinger brewery in Germany agreed to collaborate; we look forward to tasting the resulting Dunkle Weisse

This will be Eugene’s first taste of Beer Camp Across the world. We will tap eight of the beers when we open, and the Tree House, Boneyard, Surly, and St. Arnold beers will be tapped at 5pm. We will have the collaboration 12-packs for sale as well.
