Events & Office Intern (Volunteer)

The Bier Stein is hiring a Events & Office Intern to assist with in house promotional events, community engagement, and office management

The position requires 3-10 hours of work per week based on the event schedule and intern availability.

OLCC server permit and Food Handler’s card required. (can obtain upon hire)

Internship Requirements:

· Must be 21+ years old

· Interest in events management

· Understanding of restaurant and taproom environment

· Written and verbal communication skills

· Outgoing personality and can engage with customers enthusiastically

· Enthusiastic about craft beer

· Customer service focused

· Detail oriented

The Intern will be supervised by the General Manager and work directly with the FOH & Events Manager to:

· Execute in house events through coordination, outreach, and planning.

· Develop and execute private rental outreach strategy

· Work as office assistant completing tasks such as email correspondence, supply inventory, filing, etc.

· Engage with customers and event attendees.

· 4-6 month interns only: plan an event from start to finish
