The Bier Stein is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Events & Social Media Support Intern to assist with planning and executing in-house events and creating engaging content across our social platforms. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn about marketing, hospitality, and events in a fast-paced, community-focused craft beer environment.
Requirements:
Must be 21+ years old
OLCC Server Permit and Oregon Food Handler’s Card required (can be obtained upon hire)
Strong knowledge of Instagram and Facebook; experience with Canva or similar tools is a plus
Strong communication and writing skills
Enthusiastic about events, hospitality, and the craft beer community
Comfortable interacting with guests and promoting events in a fun, approachable way
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to follow through on tasks
Comfortable working evenings or weekends as needed for events
What You’ll Do:
Assist with planning and executing on-site events (trivia nights, tap takeovers, charity bingo, beer releases, etc.)
Help create and schedule event-related content on Instagram and Facebook
Capture and organize photos/videos from events for use in future promotions
Support day-of event logistics including signage, decor, setup, and guest interaction
Post and update event listings in local publications and online calendars
Assist in brainstorms for new social campaigns or engagement opportunities
Optional: Plan and execute your own event from start to finish (for longer internships)
