Office and Restaurant Management Intern (Volunteer)

Ever wondered what it’s like to run a high-volume, award-winning beer bar and restaurant? Here’s your chance to learn from the inside! The Bier Stein is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated, curious, and organized intern to support our management team behind the scenes. From helping with day-to-day office tasks to assisting with event planning and private bookings, this role gives you hands-on experience in restaurant operations, hospitality leadership, and community engagement.

Who You Are:

18+ years old

Curious, friendly, and eager to learn

Interested in restaurant or bar management, hospitality, or events

Detail-oriented and organized

Comfortable talking with customers and team members

Basic knowledge of Google Drive and email (or willing to learn)

Excited about craft beer and community-building (no beer expertise needed!)

Bonus: You’re someone who loves checklists, color-coded calendars, or giving things a little more polish than expected

What You’ll Learn & Do:

Shadow restaurant leadership and learn the inner workings of running a successful bar, taproom, and kitchen

Assist with private event bookings, guest outreach, and space coordination

Help with office operations like inventory tracking, filing, spreadsheets, and email correspondence

Support in-house events and special programming

Contribute ideas to improve systems and communication

Optional for longer internships: Plan and coordinate your own mini-event or office improvement project
